Having navigated the trials of an abusive marriage, a lengthy legal battle for custody of her children, and starting anew as an immigrant, Shabnam rebuilt her life from the ground up. She believes that we are all trustees of the resources we’ve been given—our time, wealth, and even our bodies—and that these gifts must be used for the benefit of others.
